Following the general isekai trope, Suho Kim transmigrates into the world of a fantasy novel he had been reading. Upon waking up, he finds himself in the body of Lloyd Frontera, the lazy son of a noble. Unfortunately, the character suffers a terrible fate in the original novel. As a result, Suho (now Lloyd) takes it upon himself to try and change his future. With the help of a sentient system and his past life’s knowledge of civil engineering, he starts building his unique destiny.
The Greatest Estate Developer is one of the genuine comedy manhwa titles, well-known for its hilarious, detailed faces. Unlike most protagonists in the isekai genre, Lloyd is highly knowledgeable and knows the intricate details of designing and building. The system only grants him skills and summons when he works equally hard. Moreover, he changes the primary storyline so that the world inevitably centers around him. As a result, Lloyd finds himself in many hilarious and outrageous scenarios in which he is compelled to participate for the greater good. The manhwa is equal parts hilarious and equal parts genius due to the brilliance of Lloyd’s character.

It explores the journey of the weakest hunter, Sung Jin-Woo, who seeks to gain a cheat-like system to level up and become stronger. He receives daily quests and rewards to help him become stronger, cope with the ongoing crisis, and discover the secrets of dungeons.

Solo Leveling Season 3 Might Be The Longest One Yet
Solo Leveling’s third season could be longer than the first two.
Best known for its top-notch art, Solo Leveling offers a great adventure, with the narrative mainly focused on the protagonist. Readers have highly rated it for its adventure, fantasy, and breathtaking action elements. The story is intriguing, with decent pacing, great characters, and a detailed setting. However, despite the side stories doing it justice, its ending has received mixed reviews. Fans will be excited to know that its sequel, Solo Leveling: Ragnarök, is currently published, which is centered around Sung Jin-Woo’s son. Solo Leveling also has an anime adaptation with 2 seasons, and the third is underway. It is one of the most exciting journeys of a protagonist transitioning from the weakest to the strongest. The manhwa has also set a precedent for most system-based manhwa titles or titles centered around dungeons, monsters, and hunter tropes, or exploring necromancer protagonists.

After spending over a decade, Kim Dokja finally completes his favorite web novel, Three Ways To Survive The Apocalypse, which comprises 3149 chapters. Although he never believed himself to be a protagonist, he experienced a fantastic journey through the novel’s main character, Joonghyuk. Suddenly, the novel he read has become his new reality, and he must use his knowledge to survive in the ongoing apocalypse.
Apart from world-building, Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint stands out with well-defined characters and unconventional comedy. It also has a unique plot concept, excellent pacing, and a powerful power system. Kim can also use his wits to trick the system administrators and ‘constellations’ to get the most out of each scenario. Most readers condemn Kim for being one of the most well-written protagonists compared to other popular manhwa titles. He may not be overpowered (since the novel’s actual protagonist is also present), but he can use anything to his advantage to gain the upper hand. Readers will love the manhwa for its exciting story, well-detailed power system, and lovable side characters. Existing fans of the series will also be excited to know that it has been greenlit for an anime adaptation, which is currently in production.

Moowon is the son of the fourth-generation leader of the Northern Heavenly Sect, who protects the world from the evil Silent Night. After his father is accused of colluding with the enemy, the sect is forced to be disbanded, and the father commits suicide to protect his son. Eventually, Silent Night launches a surprise attack, allowing Moowon to escape into the mountains. There, he goes on to train and learn the fighting techniques of his ancestors until he returns to the mainland following the disappearance of a loved one.
Legend of the Northern Blade has everything a manhwa has to offer. It has amazing fight scenes, detailed world-building, and unforgettable characters with a bit of romance. The plot may be simple, but the artist makes up for it with great storytelling and consistent pacing. Each chapter draws the readers in bit by bit, right from the start to the finish. Moreover, its unique art style makes it stand out from other manhwa. Another quirk of the series is that it has nothing related to cultivation despite being a murim manhwa. Therefore, the skills and martial arts are honed perfectly through diligent practice and repetition.

Yu is a 17-year-old high school student who has suffered ruthless bullying for most of his life. Although he is an expert at dodging punches, he lets the bullies beat him up as he has become dissociated from reality and is emotionally numb. One day, Yu meets up with ‘K,’ an old boxing trainer who sees Yu’s talent for dodging and superhuman instincts. K already has a record of raising five champions and wishes to train Yu as another. Yu rejects it at first, but then agrees to it after he experiences a good memory from the past and wishes to experience that light again.
Fans of boxing-related movies like the Rocky saga will love The Boxer manhwa. Like those with similar premises, the manhwa is primarily character-driven and dives into human psychology and development. The story is also amazing, with a unique art style. However, some readers have had complaints about having more than one protagonist. Moreover, the story also has a different style of pacing as it dives into the backstories of the protagonist and the other characters. As a result, the boxing matches are much more exciting due to the characters being grounded in reality. When it comes to the fight scenes, they are amazingly well done and eye-catching. People interested in the manhwa will be happy to know it is getting an anime adaptation, released in the second half of 2025.

Although his memories are intact, he is surprised that his beloved Mount Hua Sect has been removed from the top 10 sects. Moreover, it has been reduced to a mere shadow of itself, and its name is no longer as prevalent as it used to be. Therefore, he embarks on a new journey of restoring the Mount Hua sect to its former glory.
Return of the Mount Hua Sect is one of the most enjoyable manhwas, similar to The Greatest Estate Developer, due to its unpredictable protagonists and hilarious faces. One can easily mistake the protagonist for not being bright, but he’s aptly clever and equally cunning. He can easily think long-term to ensure his plans always fall into place. He may be confident, but he’s not arrogant and knows how to handle most situations. Readers will also love the revival of the Mount Hua Sect as it builds back from its roots with the help of the protagonist’s insights. All the characters are memorable and have enough depth, and the battle scenes will leave readers on the edge of their seats.

However, the Tower is a dangerous place where only selected people can enter to fight dangerous monsters and compete with other players. Subsequently, it offers equally promising rewards and stats to help them stand on top of the world. Among the players, a few irregulars can enter the Tower without being invited. Hence, Twenty-Fifth Bam is one such irregular who challenges the Tower in hopes of reuniting with his childhood friend.
Tower of God is one of the best manhwa that demands the reader’s attention due to its intricate characters and world-building. From the beginning, it introduces the core characters beautifully and sets the atmosphere for the rest of the story. The protagonist is likable and aims to reach the top of the tower just to reunite with Rachel. He encounters many scenarios where the odds are stacked against him, but his unyielding trait helps him keep moving forward. Another reason why the manhwa is often recommended is due to its beautiful character development, rivalries, and unforeseen plot twists. Fans of the series will be glad to know that it also has an anime adaptation with two seasons out there.

A hundred years later, young Bota drifts across the waters on a small boat with his family. However, they’re in constant danger of sea monsters appearing only at night. Suddenly, a harpoonist, Kana, comes across them and agrees to take them under her wing. However, they begin to experience new horrors along the way.
Leviathan is one of the most unique and entertaining manhwa, and each chapter leaves the readers wanting more. The story is exceptional, with a uniquely detailed world and beautiful characters. The protagonist’s family consists of a father and a little sister, which raises the stakes throughout their survival ordeal. Moreover, surviving in a water-submerged world brings out different types of hardships, which keep the story thrilling and engaging. The protagonists must constantly be aware of their surroundings and develop unique ways to overcome different scenarios.

Confucius Kim lives a sad existence at the entry level of a mysterious tower. He intensely envies the famous hunters who climb the tower with their unique abilities, earning fame and money. One day, his deep wish grants him an SSS-class skill to copy other people’s abilities. However, he must die to inherit their skills. Before he can understand his new power, he dies at the hands of the hunter, Flame Emperor. His copying ability activates and travels back in time.
SSS-Class Revival Hunter may follow the usual tropes, but the protagonist’s powers are a never-before-tried ability that is explored intriguingly. The author also does excellent storytelling with a decent pace, well-detailed characters, and unique mini-plots. Each floor in the tower reflects the remnants of a long-forgotten story in another world. Hence, those mini-stories add a different layer to the overall story. The manhwa has a lot to offer when exploring emotions and morality. Therefore, it has a good psychological aspect to it. The protagonist is also likable and grounded in reality, which showcases his will to make the most complex decisions. Overall, readers can expect to experience emotions of excitement, adventure, heartbreak, and joy. Some stories make them cry and pity the monsters/bosses on some floors.

With a combination of futuristic technology and the ancient murim genre, Nano Machine is not the kind of story a reader expects from the title. Saved by his descendant with a nano-machine injection, Yeo-un comes out alive from an assassination attempt. His mother was not among the High Priest’s six official wives, which made everyone look down upon him. It all changes when he starts his journey of amassing power at the Mashin Academy with the help of the nano machine.
Nano Machine is best complemented for its world-building and storytelling by its existing fan base. The pacing may be slow, but it helps build his character and strength as the world builds itself in short succession. Even though it may seem like a cheating skill, Yeo-un has a hard-working persona and wants to be strong enough to defeat his foes through his efforts. The training arcs may be slow, but it is worth it. The nano machine helps the protagonist pick up on intricate details missed by others and corrects some of the moves. As a result, the protagonist gets the most adept training, so he becomes stronger much quicker than others. Plus, the characters are well-defined with their development arcs, which adds to the overall story.
